Fancy standing where nobody (fictionally) survived? You’re in the right place.

Every murder in the Derry Murder Mysteries took place in a very real Derry spot—just with considerably less police tape and far fewer corpses in real life (hopefully). Here, you’ll find the actual streets, alleys, riversides and dodgy corners where DI Liam McLaughlin and his ragtag MIT tripped over evidence, suspects, and occasionally each other.

So whether you’re a local thinking, “Wait, someone died behind my chippy?” or a tourist planning a sightseeing itinerary with a body count, this gallery lets you walk the scenes…without needing a forensic suit.

Here's where the first murder of the Derry Murder Mysteries took place, the cannon on the Derry City Walls where poor supermarket shelf stacker Regina Steps met her maker.

And...no spoilers, but later on in the book, someone ends up dead on this bus stop across from the depot...

And a third body turns up here, near Shipquay Gate on the bottom of Shipquay Street!

DEATH IN SMALL MEASURES

Poor Evelyn Guilfoyle was having a right aul craic in the back garden family tavern (yes, they really do exist in Derry!) Here are some photos of McCafferty's Tavern where she met her end. (Thanks to the man himself Kevin McCafferty for actually constucting this!)

THREE TIMES A KILLER

Poor Declan Hoagett hung out on this street corner where the bank used to be with his mates. (It's a bit too early in the day for them, so they aren't there now, probably still in bed sleeping it off.)

Then he rounded the corner and went across the street to this very alley!

His body was found right here!!

TWILIGHT ROAD STATION

Not a crime scene, but the MIT's Twilight Road often works together with the PSNI's Strand Road station, and here it is!

McLaughlin, D'Arcy et al are seen driving in and out of these very gates of Twilight Road station all the time (Lyons in his Porsche)!
