I was chuffed to be accepted as a member of the Crime Writers Association, and honored to be allowed to attend the Dagger Awards in London last week! I took my lovely mammy along as well! We had a blast, hobnobbing with the best crime writers in the UK and worldwide. I can't believe it, I was sat next to Cara Hunter...and I had just finished reading her latest book, Murder in the Family, the night before! What are the chances? Lynda LaPlante was there as well, as was Lisa Jewell and countless others. Hmm, I wonder if any of my books will ever be up for an award? We can only wait and see! :)
